At Faustina the experiences tell stories that allow you to be part of each process of elaboration of the different dishes served.
From the collection of the necessary herbs
We begin each of our experiences with visits of reconnection with the spaces, we will be guided through ancestral customs and our origins through paths full of nature in the middle of the countryside, we will also collect herbs as inputs to prepare our meals of the day learning about their purpose in our lives.
We continue at Faustina where we can have a moment of rest enjoying a delicious glass of kombucha prepared with wild fruits of the area and some plants that we have collected in the field. Guided by the Faustina family, we will start with the preparation of sauces and dressings needed for our final dishes.
While our food finishes its cooking process, we stop for a few moments to connect with our environment and thank it for what it gives us, the earth, our companions, the sky, the sun, our personal history, thanks to all of them we are here.
We end our experiences with a glass of chicha de jora before we eat as our ancestors did and proceed to taste the dishes we have created together, as a community, as a family.
